Scoring method (Official Rules · equal weight)
Judges (Devcon finals) score four criteria evenly. Separately, leaderboard USDC volume selects top 50 → 10 finalists; top 20 share 500K ALGO. Artificial volume / wash trading can be excluded. Official Rules PDF
USDC settled to FairAnd402 payTo (client payments) via GoPlausible. Downstream SoftPay spends also create real activity for called endpoints. Wash / self-pay excluded by Administrator.
x402 is the core flow: HTTP 402 → settle → FairX402 discover/route/procure/verify → Evidence Bundle. Not a bolt-on — agentic multi-source procurement is the product.
SoftAgent Intent/ToolCall reuse, SoftPay SoR, Bazaar discovery, and Evidence provenance support ongoing agent traffic beyond the prize window.
Orchestrator pattern: one paid Fairand endpoint that settles first, then pays ≥2 independent Bazaar resources with FairRoute (no LLM ranking) and SoftAgent DecisionTrace refs.
- Leaderboard path: Top 50 on GoPlausible leaderboard → 10 finalists → Devcon 8 India pitch
- Prizes: $100K USD to top 5 finalists + 500K ALGO across top 20 leaderboard
- Orchestrator volume: USDC settled to FairAnd402 payTo counts for our row; downstream pays also credit called merchants (both sides are real).

Fairand402 is an Algorand-native agentic procurement network powered by FairX402. A customer or AI agent pays one x402 endpoint; Fairand402 discovers and pays other x402 resources through Algorand USDC and returns provenance, receipts, and an evidence graph.
